Pam Kowal
/Pam Kowal, MS, LMFT Emeritus
Healing Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Professional Tarot Consultant
Pam has spent the past 30 years in the healing arts and in private practice. In 2024 she retired from a 26-year career as a licensed marriage and family therapist to pursue more creative and soulful approaches to healing without pathologizing and diagnosing. As a therapeutic coach, reiki master and practitioner, and professional tarot consultant, she uses her decades of professional experience to provide a soul-centered framework that supports clients in finding increased consciousness and capacities and taking inspired action.
Pam believes in the wholeness of a person. She co-creates a healing experience with clients by inviting them into the mystery of life and by using science-based techniques – a combination of psychology and spirituality – through a trauma-informed lens, energy medicine, earth-based and shamanic practices, and intuition. Her intention is for clients to more clearly remember and access their own innate wisdom and then bring it forward to live their fullest expression.
Pam is trained and certified in multiple modalities of therapy and healing (including IFS and ART), and she is involved in her own decades-long studies in earth-based practices, such as tarot archetypes and Jungian analysis. She is an intersectional feminist, a social justice advocate, and a safe harbor for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. As she works with clients, she does her own deep evolutionary work alongside you. She facilitates workshops, rituals, and online courses with colleagues in the healing arts across the Twin Cities and is a writer, reader, creator, and adventurer. Pam is a Leo-Sun, Virgo-Rising, and Scorpio-Moon.
As a therapeutic coach, Pam uses her vast professional and personal life experience to inform her sessions. If in the course of your work together, you need a licensed mental health therapist or another modality to add to your team, she is part of a large referral network and can help you find the support and resources you need. She believes we all need a healing team of helpers as well as vibrant communities who can support our body, mind, spiritual, and relational well-being.
